Making Fresh Mozzarella!

So I got a chance to make fresh mozz on my work with last week. What is a work with???? One job that I do is go around with sales reps from food distributors and visit their customers with samples of our products that they carry. This helps promote our products and creates awareness of what they can order from their sales reps. Well one of the lines we represent is Polly-O cheese. It's a high end cheese line from Kraft. We sell mozz curd for chefs to take and create fresh mozz that they can either tie in knots and be creative or just slice up. I learned how to do this last week and the sales rep had me take some home to practice making it. So here it is!

You heat the water up to 160 degrees, place a strainer or colander in the the water and began working the curd with you hands to help it form together. Here are pics below!

Broken up curd

Yay working it together with my fingers!

Just keeping it a simple shape, I am no professional....yet! lol
